Why should I create an online account?
An online account puts you in control. You can log in to submit meter readings, check your energy use and even pay your bills quick and easily at a time that suits you.
With an online account you can do the following:
- Submit your meter readings - meaning there are no estimated bills.
- View, print and pay your bills – and we will send you an email when your latest one’s ready.
- Review your correspondence with us
If you would like to find out more about managing your account online, call us on 0800 121 6699.

What are my rights as an energy customer?
There is a wealth of free, independent advice available. You can search for a better tariff deal, find out how to make a complaint, get information about your electricity or gas supply and seek help if you are struggling to pay your bills.
For up-to-date information about your energy rights visit Citizens Advice or give them a call on 03444 111 444. You can also download the Citizens Advice know your rights leaflet.

What rights do I have if I decide to cancel?
Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (ICAC)
As a RAM Energy customer, we will provide you with clear and easy to understand information (pre-contract information and contract confirmation with Robin Hood Energy, RAM Energy’s licensed energy supplier). This should be supplied before you agree to buy anything from us.
If you decide you want to cancel your energy contract with Robin Hood Energy (RAM Energy’s licensed energy supplier), you should call our customer service team, for free, on 0800 121 6699. We will also give you a copy of our terms and conditions relating to your energy contract.
You can cancel your contract within 14 days (cooling-off period) without giving a reason via phone or ‘durable medium’, e.g. a letter, email, text, personal account etc.
How to cancel?
You can cancel your contract with us over the phone or via any durable medium – this includes letter, email, text and your online account.
This is to ensure that, should a dispute arises, that after the contract has been ended, both parties have a record about what was agreed.
The burden of proof that the relevant information has been provided rests with the trader, in this instance, Robin Hood Energy (RAM Energy’s licensed energy supplier).
Off-premises contracts
As a customer of RAM Energy, you will need to confirm and agree to receive information on a durable medium other than paper – this could be phone, email, text or your online account.
