Five simple steps for moving home
Moving into a new home? Lots on your mind? You’ll be relieved to know that it is quick and easy to get your energy supply sorted.
Here's how it works in five easy steps:
1. Tell us when you’re moving
Call us on 0800 121 6699 and tell us your moving date, where you are moving to and if you want to take us with you. If you are moving out of the region we can offer you a similar tariff with our partner supplier, Robin Hood Energy.
2. Give us your last meter readings
Send us your final gas and electricity meter readings on the day you move out and we will send you an accurate bill. If you forget to do this, we will estimate your final bill, which means you could end up paying too much.
3. We will send your closing bill
After receiving your meter readings we will send you a final bill.
4. Send us your new meter reading
When you move in send us your gas and electricity meter readings from your new home. It’s very important you remember to do this otherwise you could end up paying for someone else’s energy (which we all want to avoid).
5. New home provided by a different energy supplier? Don't worry you can still switch to RAM Energy.
Once identified we will confirm the date with you for when we become the energy provider for your new home. We will then send you your bills every quarter.
